As part of the celebrations of its 10th anniversary, ICVolunteers (ICV) has mobilized photographers to express themselves on the theme of "Diverse Perspectives on Environmental Education" in "The Gallery" at rue Coulouvrenière 17 in Geneva. The aim of this exhibition is to raise funds for ICV’s "Green Voice" project, linked to environmental education for young people. Invited Arts Photographers Among the arts photographers are Vlado Alonso, Hussain Aga Khan, Jacques Berthet, Nicolas Crispini Olivier Delhoume, Nicolas Faure, Jean-Pierre Grandjean, Michel Huelin Alan Humerose, Peter Hutchinson, Cyril Kobler, Patrice Moullet, Ursula Mumenthaler, Gerard Pétremand, Eric Poitevin, Jacques Pugin, Jean Revillard, Roman Signer and Patrick Weidmann. They express creativity and sensitivity at a timely moment, just two months before the Copenhagen Summit on Climate Change (7 to 18 December 2009), a key event for the climate and humanity. Photographers of the ICVolunteers network For its 10th anniversary, ICV has also mobilized its international network of volunteers with a call for creative photography. As a result, 350 pictures were received, showing views from 60 countries. 80 of them are also exhibited at the Gallery. The journey leads through five continents from China to Peru through India, Kazakhstan and Nigeria. ICVolunteers, which operates in the fields of communication and conference support, develops field projects. The organization works with a network of 10,000 volunteers worldwide and considers sustainable development and ecological dimension as a powerful lever for the good of all. Climate change is a palpable threat. ICV stresses through its field projects, how civil society can empower themselves through proactive activities for knowledge and protection of the environment.
